REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 15 years of Management Consulting experience or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working within the Medical Devices and/or Software-as-a-Medical Device (SaMD) functions of Life Sciences
  • Deep knowledge of Medical Device, SaMD, Digital Therapeutics, GxP, product development lifecycle (conceptualization through verification, validation, and production)
  • Fluent in German and English languages
  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile principles, and experience driving program management and leading cross-functional workstreams
  • Experience helping drive internal Business Consulting initiatives whilst also supporting client projects
  • Skilled at analyzing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate these issues to clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work on fast paced engagements with onshore and offshore teams
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic/big picture mindset with tactical execution excellence

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an expert in Medical Devices and/or SaMD? Are you interested in the opportunity to grow a practice across the region?
We are hiring for a Director level position in EPAM’s Life Sciences Consulting practice. This is a newly created role and you will have the strategic responsibility to fortify our business offering across Germany, focusing on Medical Devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) sector.
Directors at EPAM are responsible for business development, account support and project delivery. A willingness to travel to client site and EPAM offices is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop expertise in EPAM products for diverse customer needs
  • Lead pre-sales and sales activities using expert knowledge in Life Sciences to assess opportunities and help secure deals
  • Provide guidance to the consulting teams and coordinate with senior leadership for devising account plans
  • Lead consulting engagements by creating detailed project plans, managing activities and providing feedback to team members and stakeholders
  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle, offering alternative recommendations to ensure objectives are met
  • Utilize strong client management skills to build relationships with senior to executive-level stakeholders
  • Oversee the development of client and internal presentations, workshops and work products across all workstreams
  • Drive the design of new business processes, conduct user review sessions and organize stakeholder agreement meetings, while proactively anticipating and mitigating risks and providing guidance to junior team members
