Description:

We’re looking for a Director, Corporate IT Delivery, Strategy and Planning to join in London, UK or Schiphol, Riijk

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive successful delivery of all delivery streams and programs ensuring alignment across the broader DeX departments
  • Provide direction and guidance to our delivery partners
  • Support in the development of the Digital Employee Experience vision and strategies as it relates to the organization’s Corporate IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
  • Oversee key internal relationships across the group such Security, Procurement, Finance and People Teams
  • Develop, manage, and track the DeX department annual budget
  • In conjunction with the Group Security team, manage the security posture of the Corp IT environments to ensure compliance with LG policies with appropriate risk management where necessary
  • Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
  • Create and modify processes, policies and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an IT Director or similar role
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Experience in controlling information technology budget
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the organization
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills

  • Off hours work as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Working with DeX VP to develop and maintain Corporate IT long range strategy, considering the future needs of the organization and future technologies
  • End to end financial and commercial responsibility from initial planning, through budgetary mgmt, purchasing to governance and oversight
  • Supporting VP of DeX with thought leadership and special projects
  • Responsible for Roadmap & Delivery, ensuring all demand is centrally assessed and tracked through the devops cycle taking into account resources mgmt. and prioritization to ensure the successful delivery to time, cost and quality metrics.
  • MSP oversight of all external services relationships to ensure we meet our contractual commitments, performing activities such as service reviews, service improvement plans, SLA reporting
  • Group alignment and collaboration, driving a culture of knowledge sharing and support across group and the opcos to drive best practice and efficient improvements
  • Own overarching comms strategy for the department, ensuring employees are fully briefed on changes prerelease along with visibility of future roadmap and strategy along with the so what narrative.
