DIRECTOR, DATA MANAGEMENT AND INTEGRATIONS

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Data Management and Integrations to lead our data teams and initiatives at Annexus. This is a senior level role responsible for all things data and will be pivotal in creating and scaling our data integrations, infrastructure, and data strategy for the organization. This leader will oversee a team of data and engineering professionals responsible for data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and usage, as well as collaborate with data science professionals who will use and consume the data downstream.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy and Governance
  • Develop and execute a long-term comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization’s current needs and anticipates future goals and objectives while integrating with current technology systems to drive business growth and improve decision-making
  • Define data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Lead the identification & use of new customer data sources to influence marketing strategy and identify data driven opportunities in these key growth areas
  • Establish data-related best practices and guidelines for data management, data acquisition, and data usage
  • Data Analysis and Insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure access to data to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and the development data-driven performance metrics to execute on the right analysis, models, and stories
  • Collaborate on the identification & use of new customer data sources to influence marketing strategy and identify data driven opportunities in these key growth areas
  • Data Infrastructure and Technology
  • Facilitate an exceptional Extract, Transform, and Load approach
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of data management systems, data warehouses, and analytics tools
  • Provide thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate data warehousing approaches and methodology
  • Ensure data infrastructure scalability, reliability, and compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance data processing, analysis, and reporting capabilities
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with business objectives and integrates with existing technology systems
  • Build and lead a high-performing data team, including analysts, engineers, and other professionals
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative data-driven culture, promoting continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and business units to understand their data needs and align initiatives with organizational goals
  • Ensure Key Products and projects are staffed with proficient and appropriate resources
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making at all levels
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage data for competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
