Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in consumer/ retail channel management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity and preferably in a mid-size organisation of a related industry.
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Software skills (Sales Forecasting).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Degree in related discipline.

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow the Direct sales channels, which include Telesales, Multi-Channel, Retail channels and Telemarketing.

Develop and deploy business tactics which focus on new business acquisition and development of current Direct Sales Channel’s customers.

  • Drive sales channel improvement through regionally harmonized processes and procedures including GSP, SSI and sales automation.
  • Manage Telesales Managers and Telesales Executives to comply to GSIP and meet the required KPIs and standards set by Country/Regional/Global Commercial teams.
  • Generate sales prospects and manage Multi-Channel customers through the Telemarketing team to ensure effective development and identification of customers with potential for movement to Telesales and Field Sales.
  • Manage Retail Channel, Service Points and Retail Sales Partners.
  • Work closely with other functions to increase sales lead generation eg. Marketing Communications, Operations, Customer Service, Regional Commercial.
  • Co-ordinate with functional departments e.g. Operations, Customer Service, eCommerce and Finance to ensure delivery of sales commitment.
  • Work with Pricing to implement margin improvement projects: NPC, GPI, Red/Yellow Card.
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of the team to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
  • Identify training needs of the channel.
  • Coordinate with other functions to support SOG and customer retention.
