In this role you will be supporting the integration of the NOVUM Hospitality Hotels portfolio into IHG’s designated brands. This role will focus on initially assessing how Engineering & Maintenance operations are undertaken before implementing a plan to align current ways of working with those necessary to deliver the outcomes set out within the Property Improvement Plans (PIP’s) created for each property and in the delivery of Great Hotels Guest Love & Brilliant OWNER returns.

Preferred; completion of a degree, certificate or equivalent experience related to maintenance and engineering

CRITICAL EXPERTISE & RECENT EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience and knowledgeable on Building Services (MEP) within a hotel environment
  • Experience in having responsibility for testing and record keeping for fire, life, and safety systems, taking remedial action on any Plant, Gas and Air Ventilation equipment in line with legal requirements and safety standards.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Trained in and application of IHG Way of Preventative Maintenance
  • Knowledge of appropriate hotel systems to support operational processes such as service optimization tool (Quore/Hotsos/Knowcross) and the Building Management System
  • Has knowledge of appropriate brand standards and ability to articulate areas of responsibility & accountability?
  • Recognized qualification in a Building Services / Facilities Management environment.
