Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Confluent is looking for an accomplished and results-oriented Director of APAC Marketing, reporting to the VP of Global Field Marketing. In this role, you will lead a team of regional field marketers and work closely with Sales leadership and Marketing stakeholders to develop and execute the APAC go-to-market plan aligned to pipeline, consumption and new logo targets.
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in delivering measurable results and building strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. You are passionate about collaborating with Sales leaders to understand the region’s key markets, priorities and metrics for success. Additionally, you have a data-driven mindset to help inform priorities and budget investment decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead overall APAC Marketing for Asia, Japan, India, ANZ and Emerging markets, including strategy, priorities and execution plan aligned to pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Drive all facets of plan execution to increase awareness, drive engagement and consideration to maximize the volume, velocity and value of the funnel.
  • Lead the APAC regional marketing team, acting as a coach to mentor and develop the existing team to maximize their potential and scale for future growth.
  • Build exceptional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor for Sales and Partner leadership within APAC, understanding the needs of each region.
  • Develop the strategy for the localization of our brand, messaging and communication channels, working closely with Global Campaigns and Product Marketing to develop messaging and content that resonates with the target personas and account segments in APAC.
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications, local press and analyst partners to build relationships with media and stakeholders in each region
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations on the process, people and technology to achieve the desired pipeline generation and conversion results.
  • Partner with the Digital team to drive top of funnel volume for both PG and PLG and increase awareness of Confluent.
  • Work with the Partner Marketing COE team to shape partner ‘with’ programs and offerings that help scale our reach in the region.
  • Analyse data, metrics and trends, providing consistent reporting and presentations on APAC performance to Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Manage the APAC regional budget and Marketing-sourced pipeline forecast.
