Senior opportunity to lead our Finance team

As a Finance Director with DHL Supply Chain, you will provide leadership and direction within our Finance team to ensure the financial success and growth across the Australian business. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your duties will include:

  • Develop and execute DHL’s financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to stakeholders, contributing to key decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement effective financial controls and processes.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cost optimization initiatives and identify revenue growth opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA or CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and in-depth knowledge of financial management principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Business acumen and the ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
