Responsibilities:

Your key areas of responsibility as Director Finance

  • You oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • You lead and mentor a team of accountants and business controllers to manage day-to-day financial transactions.
  • You collaborate closely with the MD and leadership team to craft financial strategies that bolster Orange Business’s mission and business goals.
  • You independently prepare external and internal financial reporting (HGB and IFRS) for management and owners, as well as other standard reports in close coordination with controlling, external tax advisor, and the management, driving informed decision-making.
  • You ensure the processing of all business transactions within our accounting department in due time and with due quality.
  • You take on the responsibility for cash flow planning, ensuring our organization’s financial health.
  • You are a reliable business partner for other departments within Orange Business, providing independent and comprehensive analysis both internally, as well as to owners.
  • You act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and expert teams in the Orange group (tax, treasury, accounting, etc.) maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance.
  • You lead the preparations and submission of budgets and forecasts in coordination with other departments and the management.
  • You serve as a valued sparring partner for our management team, offering expertise and support in addressing complex business challenges.
  • You participate in bid reviews, business case analysis, and support ad hoc projects.
  • You oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
