Essentials:
- Extensive experience working within a top-tier Investment or Wealth Management firm, or consulting firm
- Proven track record of designing, delivering and leading large projects and programmes, including complex business and technology transformations in senior roles
- Relevant subject matter expertise in the leading Front Office and Data Management technologies and vendors, with knowledge and experience across their application and implementation
- Exceptional client relationship management, across Business, Technology and Leadership teams
- Strong relationships with leading industry vendors
- Proven record of identifying and converting commercial opportunities
- Proven ability to mobilise and motivate teams
- Strong understanding of risk, and associated risk mitigation strategies
- A collaborative attitude with willingness to learn and participate
Desirables:
- Experience working with, and implementing, one or more of the BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River and SimCorp systems
- Accredited qualification(s) from leading vendors (e.g. Charles River Development bootcamp)
- Industry certifications such as CISI, BCS, Prince 2, Agile, PMP among others
- Strong understanding of emerging technology and trends within Financial Services
Responsibilities:
As a Director in our team, you’ll work closely alongside Partners and Senior Managers and play a key role in influencing and shaping the strategic direction and development of the team, with the opportunity to:
- Demonstrate your leadership capabilities to effectively manage diverse teams, with an inclusive culture where people are recognised for their delivery of client work
- Lead client engagements and develop strong long-term client relationships as a trusted business advisor in the Investment and Wealth Management sector
- Own and develop propositions, develop innovative thought leadership and support the growth of our business
- Leverage your existing, and develop new, trusted relationships with our clients, identifying and sourcing new opportunities for Deloitte
- Play an active role in the recruitment and career development of more junior team members
