The Future of Work team at lululemon is on a journey to empower effective work within our physical and digital workplaces - improving workplace experience across where, how, and when we work. As the Director, Future of Work & Workplace Experience, you will define and operationalize strategy across our growing capability, including workplace programs & policies, location strategy (where we work and why), tools and technologies that enable working effectively, and experience strategies that drive connection including global travel guidelines and our annual Summer Fun Fest gathering. Also, you will support the ongoing development of our end-to-end onboarding capability.

a day in the life

  • Through research and networking, explore innovation and optimization in effective work practices.
  • Develop workplace and location strategy, policies, and programs to support priorities of workplace connection, attendance compliance, and capability maturation.
  • Provide requirements and lead processes to systemize portfolio elements like attendance management and location governance.
  • Partner with Legal and P&C Partners on nuanced applications of location & workplace policies.
  • Partner with Facilities to plan and design change management and communications for office moves or workplace policies.
  • Support the organization with travel guidance for remote commuters, business trips, and gatherings.
  • Contribute a connection-through-culture lens on major activations including lead P&C consultant to large-scale engagement strategies (delivering summer party, new buildings, etc.)

qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in related field or equivalent experience.
  • HR, Psychology or Business background preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience across a P&C organization.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior executives.
  • Represents multiple perspectives in people-centric approach - inclusive design experience an asset.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a high-growth, dynamic organization.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $157,400 - 206,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
