  The Role
  We are currently recruiting for the role of Director, Global Clients to join team and work across the SJ Group to identify, pursue and win mega projects and drive sector business growth with key global clients from the SJ High Value Global Client program.
  This position will require the coordination of client strategies with SJ Group’s business line sector leaders and regional leaders as well as leadership from Group Strategy & Growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage client relationships and engagement strategies for identified key global clients.
• Develop engagement strategies for identified global clients.
• Manage a close liaison with Regional and Business Line leadership on key pursuits for identified key global clients. The Client Director will also develop and coordinate processes and documentation with key global clients to enable consistent transaction of new deals.
• Establish, reaffirm, and maintain SJ-Client Agreements with key global contractors (or range of regional agreements).
• Establish, reaffirm, and maintain a partnering approach with common shared values between SJ and Client.
• Build SJ’s reputation nationally and globally as a leading consultant with a strong reputation for innovation, technical excellence, quality, and project delivery.
• Create “virtual teams” across Business Lines and Regions, ensuring that projects identified and won fall within the strategic direction of the organisation, balancing short and long-term goals.
• Ensure business relationships comply with all regulatory and legal requirements.

About You

• 15+ years’ relevant experience with established profile within the engineering and/or construction industry.
• Strong strategic thinking, business development, and leadership skills.
• High degree of vision, drive and focus to deliver all requirements for client strategy development and relationship building.
• Has a strong understanding of the global engineering and/or construction market.
• High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters.
• Excellent time management skills to work effectively and efficiently towards deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
