JOB DESCRIPTION

It is an exciting time to join our company’s Global Cardiometabolic & Respiratory team (CMR), as we build an industry leading CMR business and aspire to impact cardiovascular disease on a global scale. We have made significant progress advancing our broad pipeline with eight approvals expected in the next five years. The Cardiometabolic business is a top corporate priority and expected to be a key growth driver for our company.
Our company is building the industry leading Pulmonary hypertension portfolio. Our product is currently launched across all key global markets in Pulmonary Hypertension (PAH and CTEPH), with revenue exceeding $1 Billion.
The Heart Failure market is a large cardiovascular market and despite the advances of new therapies, cardiovascular mortality remains at 50% in 5 years. Our company has launched a product in key US and Ex-US markets (Japan, China, EU) for patients with worsening Heart Failure. Additionally, there is a 2nd large CVOT study that is expected to be the key long-term growth driver for the brand. The study expands the target population by three-fold and is expected to reduce risk of CV mortality and hospitalization when added to the existing SOC.
The Global Marketing Director, sGC Alliance, will lead key strategic elements to drive the success of these two key commercialized growth products in our company’s expanding Cardiometabolic portfolio with blockbuster revenue opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global commercial strategies for two marketed products, including product positioning, clear differentiation strategies, and brand promotion messaging
  • Lead key strategic projects, including L3, Integrated Brand Plans and Launch Planning, to drive global launch and enterprise mobilization in order to build value for patients, payers, and Healthcare Providers (HCPs)
  • Collaborate with key markets, Bayer, and other key stakeholders to ensure a unified strategy that optimizes assets, including global brand strategy, value evidence, rapid and broad access, launch readiness, customer centric commercial model
  • Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify customer insights and market opportunities
  • Manage budget and resources effectively to maximize impact and financial objectives
  • Drive forward digital innovation, focused on strategy development, optimization of analytics as well as tactic development work through the GCT and Key markets to support consistent execution at local country level
  • Stay up-to-date with latest developments in PH and HF treatment landscape and ensure marketing strategies are aligned with the evolving market dynamics
  • Partner with Cardiometabolic Global Marketing colleagues to invest in each other’s development, buld a culture of inclusivity, speak-up, and stretch our collective team’s thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 8 years progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access, or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries

  • Strategic Planning: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear long-term customer centric strategies

  • Advanced Degree (MBA)
  • Global Marketing and/or Cardiometabolic & Respiratory Marketing experience
