EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business required; MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years sales experience
  • Experience in both direct & distribution sales leadership

Responsibilities:

The Global Leader reports to the VP Global Commercial for the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) within the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) and will be a leader in driving bookings and revenue growth, developing a comprehensive commercial strategy, profitability objectives and achieving sales results by implementing robust forecasting and sales processes, hiring, retaining and developing key talent, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers and channel partners, and working closely with all functions to drive customer value and satisfaction.

  • Lead commercial processes including accurate forecasting, pipeline, and pricing management. Nurture utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and marketing leads
  • Handle business budgets appropriately including revenue, margin and operating expenditure
  • Build short and long-term strategic and operating plans to facilitate revenue growth
  • Develop and implement Commercialization plans for regional NPD
  • Lead short-mid-long-term initiatives with regional commercial teams to implement product strategy and tactics to achieve growth
  • Partner with Strategic Marketing to develop and/or redeploy marketing campaigns to drive revenue in conjunction with regional commercial teams to support local commercial strategies and markets
  • Communicate as primary contact for VPGMs, BU Teams and Product Leaders
  • Identify and Evaluate market opportunities for growth, engaging cross Business Unit to drive business development opportunities for emerging technologies or new market segments.
  • Engages with our China, APJ and Latin American Commercial EPM teams to drive execution of strategy to achieve business objectives.
