PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Labor Relations experience (grievances, contract interpretation, diversity, performance management, and government employment laws in EMA region)
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience resolving complex labor issues in an international environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing company with internal production sites
  • Experience developing/supporting European labor strategy
  • Capacity to assess complex facts of cases and condense them to short comprehensive pieces of information
  • Ability to coordinate geographically dispersed functional stakeholders/teams
  • Strong knowledge of labor relations, diversity, performance management, and government employment laws in EMA region
  • Ability to coordinate geographically dispersed functional stakeholders/teams
  • M&A acquisition and integration experience desirable
  • Experience Leading Leaders preferred

  • English language fluency
  • Willingness to travel

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required. An advanced degree / legal degree a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the regional HR team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of HR services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, senior executives and HR business partners to align services and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively manage budget and resources
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement to enhance service delivery effectiveness through process optimization, automation, and leveraging emerging HR technologies
  • Lead organizational change related to HR processes, systems, and service delivery models
  • Oversee development and engagement of the HR team, through the talent lifecycle – acquisition, performance management, training, and succession planning.
  • Oversee partnership with work counsels/unions to foster positive relations and local practice
