Job Summary
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a world-class Global Indirect Procurement Director based in Singapore and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain . In an industry that is reshaping the world’s energy future, there’s no better place to be.
Maxeon is seeking new leadership for all Indirect procurement and sourcing functions globally. This role will be responsible for global indirect procurement teams at manufacturing sites and across all categories including Travel, Facilities, IT, HR, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Consulting services, and other services. The individual should bring their industry experience and creativity to create sourcing strategies for each category and ensure contractual agreements deliver optimized cost, terms, quality, and service. The team will implement and govern procurement process compliance and support improvements to meet the needs of our internal customers and external suppliers. The leader must adapt to a changing environment and rise to the occasion when new cost goals or service requirements are needed.
As Maxeon expands its cell and module production into the US, the indirect procurement support for construction related activities will be critical to Maxeon’s success. The role requires intelligence of the regional market and leading new opportunities that keep Maxeon cost competitive while continuously improving the procurement process for all stakeholders. The Global Indirect Procurement Director articulates the multi-year procurement strategy for the business and coordinates bidding and vendor selection, contract negotiation, and execution planning.
Successful candidates will have deep experience in Indirect Sourcing on a global basis, working with Marketing, Legal, Finance and HR organizations, with demonstrated knowledge of strategic procurement, supplier performance management and operational procurement. Requires strong written and oral communication necessary to establish trust within your team, effectively communicate with Maxeon’s senior management, and drive results for the organization. Responsibilities:

Development and execution of an integrated strategy and action plan to optimize cost and service; Manage and adhere to budget. Establishing partners that delivery the needs to the company and limit transactions Strategic contract negotiations and cost control of our global indirect expenses Creative solutions to solve procurement pain points within the organization and mitigate new issues that arise. Utilization of data and systems to identify opportunities and enable continuous improvement. Negotiations of Master Service and Master Supply Agreements. Measurable cost savings. Coordination of the work of buyers and contracts managers. Definition of the governance and guidelines in the evaluation, selection, negotiation and relationships with suppliers to improve costs, terms, and standards of service; Own and maintain all policies and procedures pertinent to the procurement process. Continuous collaboration with the executive team and program managers to stay on top of the organization’s needs. Establishing working relationships with various internal groups across the organization including sale/marketing, regional/country offices, legal, finance, IT, and others. Departments approach to analysis of spend data, category supplier bases, and cost models. Resolution to vendor disputes and any indirect procurement-related issues.
