Description:

Applications are invited for the position of Director, International Admissions and Enrolment Services in the International Division, located at the Niagara College Business Centre located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus. The salary range is $102,287 to $136,382 for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required, as necessary.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Business Development, the Director is responsible for providing strong strategic and visionary leadership in the articulation and implementation of admission policies and evaluation, prospective student enrolment management, communication and response plans, and system integration and innovation at Niagara College. The Director will work closely with the Director of Global Business Development on enrolment strategies while overseeing the international admissions system and process. The incumbent will also collaborative with institutional Senior Directors, Directors, Deans, Associate Deans to develop and promote globally accessible opportunities for all international learners through evidence-based practices and policies that support and enhance Niagara Colleges comprehensive programs and delivery options.
The Director also works collaboratively with the key stakeholders at public private partnership institution(s), as well as global campuses, to direct the above strategic and visionary application, ensuring strategic enrolment objectives and initiatives, admission policies and evaluation, system support and communication campaigns are aligned with the College’s overall global strategy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Four (4) year degree in Business Administration, Education, Operations Management, Computer Science or Social Sciences or similar field of study with a minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Strong understanding of post-secondary education operations, academic policies, and admissions processes
  • Strong leadership capacities including strategic planning, organizational capacity, change management, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with supervision of staff within a unionized environment and demonstrated experience of leading and managing a large team
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage complex and overlapping priorities
  • Superior skills in communication, organization, problem solving/conflict resolution, and prioritizing within a multi-faceted role
    This position requires primarily on-campus work.
