Chez FortNine, le directeur de l’administration des affaires jouera un rôle essentiel dans la supervision des opérations financières de notre organisation, en se concentrant sur la planification stratégique et l’analyse financière pour Motos Illimitées, le plus grand concessionnaire de véhicules récréatifs au Canada et un exemple à suivre dans ce que représente le monde des sports motorisés. Au départ, ce rôle sera principalement orienté vers la gestion financière, mais il comprendra également des responsabilités opérationnelles plus vastes, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, l’analyse globale des affaires, le développement à long terme et la contribution au leadership de l’entreprise. Le candidat idéal possède une solide expérience de la finance, des opérations et de la gestion de la vente au détail, ainsi que la capacité de s’adapter et de remettre en question le statu quo dans un environnement dynamique et en évolution constante.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in Powersports (including Automotive, Marine, or any related industry) or dealership management is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or retail management.
  • Professionally Bilingual in both English and French, verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Local to Montreal, Terrebonne, or surrounding area. This is a permanently on-site role

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring best tools and practices are utilized effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Staying current with our competitive market, conducting relevant market research, and ensuring we’re meeting the needs of our audience at every turn.
  • In partnership with the General Manager, work with OEM to obtain advantageous programs and rebates.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their goals.
  • Analyze the company’s performance at various levels by setting goals and challenging department leaders to continuously improve performance. It will be important to feel comfortable challenging how and why we approach objectives the way we do.
  • Manage the seasonality of the business, increasing and decreasing workforce as needed.
  • Identify where our resources are best utilized and focus on these areas as our strengths. Similarly, identify inefficiencies and ensure they are mitigated or eliminated.
  • Act as the primary contact with Fortnine and Novacap.

Business Management:

  • Review the financial statements with the controller monthly. Identify and activate any action required.
  • Ensure good standing with the primary lenders as well as the financing partner of each of the Original Equipment Manufacturers. Ensure covenants are achieved. Review and send financials ratios and reports as needed.
  • Review annual renewals and changes to the OEM agreements and other agreements. Involve internal and external expertise as needed.
  • Challenge the status quo and support the department leaders and the controller to improve & modernize processes internally, leveraging our existing platforms and databases.
  • Maximize the floor usage and how it contributes to the overall group profitability.
  • Optimize floor plan and credit line to reduce interest as much as possible.
  • Closely manage inventory of new and used units as well as parts and accessory to maximize inventory turn, cashflow, interest, sales and margins.
