WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development, North America to oversee our high-performing team of BDRs. The Director of Business Development, NA will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive lead generation and pipeline growth. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience with success in B2B sales development, proven leadership skills, and an enthusiasm for driving results.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and maintain a collaborative, enthusiastic, and positive work environment in which BDRs can thrive and be proud of their accomplishments.
- Identify training and process improvement needs within the business development team by effectively creating and measuring teams monthly, quarterly, and annual goals vs. outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve and exceed targets
- Participate in the recruiting, hiring, training, and ramping of a team of business development representatives, including the effective use of sales tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align BDR efforts with overall business goals and outcomes
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to BDR team members.
- Monitor key performance metrics and sales activity to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Develop talent to grow into future sales roles in the company
