Description:

Director of Capture & Proposals (70%) – Make best efforts to identify, qualify and secure new opportunities for contract performance resulting in revenue growth and expanded customer base associated with our company’s eight (8) main lines of operations: SOF Training and Support; Expeditionary Logistics and Management; Security Solutions and Assessments; Intelligence Support; Staff Augmentation and Consulting; Engineering and Technical Assistance; EOD & Robotics; Innovation and IT Support.
You will be the bridge between the ongoing business pursuits (Plans) and the current operations (CUOPS) within the organization.
Your responsibilities include tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses and monitoring production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You should also demonstrate great leadership skills and be able to communicate the vision of the company across all levels.
Key and specific responsibilities include but are not limited to, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards; maximizing the efficiency of all business procedures; establishing production KPIs and conduct quality assessments; monitoring daily future operations and addressing potential issues when they arise; building processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance; and coordinating with the HR department to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work with the senior leadership team to accelerate SBT’s growth and advance our reputation in the market. Spearhead and orchestrate SBT pitches and proposals, including assembling pitch teams ensuring best practice approaches to key opportunities, drafting RFI / RFP content, and developing best-in-class response formats. Improve and maintain a knowledge management system for efficient access to key proposal content. Create lead-generation programs and drive capture plan implementation to help teams achieve ambitious growth targets.

Strategic Development and Execution (30%) – Define and establish best practices, support programs and program staff, implementing an improved / revised Program Management Review (PMR) processes in support of all company programs. Assist, provide oversight, and quality control based on cost/schedule/performance with all operations and program management duties, to include the Granite Creek Range Complex.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects; 2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; 3. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility; 4. Ensure resource availability and allocation; 5.Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; 6. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques; 7. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; 8. Assist in the coordination of any battle rhythm events/re-occurring meetings, and schedule TELECONs to coordinate with key stakeholders on ongoing project process; 9. Task Order/RFP Support, timecard validation and reporting, PMR attendance, assist in employee recruitment. Author, advocate owner approval, and implement / continuously revise a strategic plan addressing target markets, specific customers and opportunities, establish weighted revenue and EBIT goals, and relationship building targets.
