Description:

The position will be leading the global transformational and corporate development at CHARLES & KEITH Group of companies. He or she will play a pivotal role in shaping, architecting, orchestrating, and delivering the next phase of innovation and growth for the Group of companies.
The incumbent will hold a strategic role in the company, reporting to the C-SUITE principally the Chief Financial Officer, who is currently pivoting the organization-wide transformation strategies and implementation. This is a newly created transformation role to drive the key leadership such as C-SUITE, Directors, General Managers, and Heads of Divisions, as part of the mission for transformational leadership. He or she will design and develop the leadership mandate to envision, and effect changes pivotal to inspire creativity, propel growth and efficiency, drive purpose, and institutionalize operational excellence. The key success of the transformation will be the kaleidoscope of re-designing and re-engineering of processes, people practices, and procedures for continuous business innovation, sustainability, growth, and evolution.
As the evangelist of change, the incumbent will be the role model for change, inspiring people from all levels to cultivate and embrace new behaviors that are helping them to rediscover themselves, excel, and be more efficient in their roles. Humanizing technology, the incumbent will lead collaborations and build meaningful connections among people, processes, data, standards, technology, systems, culture, infrastructure, and resources. The incumbent will be responsible for leading managers in their day-to-day decision making so that they are not only playing support and consulting roles but also accountable for devising the approaches, processes, and decisions to achieve the overall long-range organization vision and mission as part of their tactical solutions in achieving short to mid-term individual and departmental goals. He or she carries the mandate to hone the skillsets of managers in getting work done efficiently and automating everything where possible to help managers progress, create new values, and be better versions of themselves. It is imperative for the incumbent to drive the senior leadership team like the CEO, COO, and Directors to be accountable and responsible for the development, addressing the setbacks, and transformation works required to effect evolution and achieve the desired change outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of overall experience in fashion, technology, e-commerce, and FMCG.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps
  • Strong leadership abilities and stakeholder management skills
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset combined with pragmatic execution
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and influence capabilities
  • Experience leveraging digital technologies to enable business model evolution

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategies into people, processes, culture initiatives and devise change or improvement relevant to accelerate performance and growth.
  • Develop and lead people-driven innovation, strategy, business process re-engineering, and roadmap, in efforts to revolutionize the company and establish world-class standards and practices.
  • Design and develop blueprints, governance, milestones, budgets, deliverables, timelines, measurements, and success metrics for change, including dashboards for monitoring at different levels and for different stakeholders.
  • Design and execute the creation of desired organization structures, new operating models, communications, and capabilities as the enabler of strategic priorities and thrust, relevant for current and future growth.
  • Diagnose business gaps, challenges, and anticipate possible push-backs undermining change and development, creating solutions to address those challenges and push-backs.
  • Develop KPI, OKR, and relevant measurements for managers and critical positions to evaluate their performance, results, and impact for continuous improvements including creating challenging goals to disrupt the status quo.
  • Address fixed mindsets, old, and counterproductive approaches.
  • Manage teams and business units to implement desired transformation across functions including merchandising, technology, customer experience, supply chain, sustainability, talent development, and other priority areas. This includes reviewing and improving the organization-wide talent and people strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize individual and business performance through process enhancement, new technologies, and skills.
  • Honing the skillsets and competencies of leaders and managers to coach, mentor, and manage business, team performance, and individual successes, personally or professionally. This includes coaching senior leadership, such as the CEO, COO, and Executive Directors on their professional and personal development.
  • Communicate the transformation vision and keep senior leaders, employees, and relevant external partners abreast with the progress to inspire them with the change outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess performance outcomes, identify corrective actions where necessary, and motivate the adoption of changes across the organization to drive performance and productivity improvements.
  • Formalize and steer the strategic sustainability mission and agenda.
  • Stay connected to digital, and fashion industry disruptions, emerging technologies, and trends to devise strategic thrusts.
