Description:

Talented and experienced Data Analytics and BI Director to lead the analytics initiatives of an experienced Organisation based in the Irish market. Visionary leader with a strong analytical background to oversee the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in BI tools, data analytics, data visualization, and modeling. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics and BI strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
Lead a team of analysts and data professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
Drive the design, development, and implementation of data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Establish best practices and standards for data analytics and BI processes.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and BI, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience (6 years) in a leadership role in data analytics and BI.
Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong proficiency in data analytics, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
