POSITION OVERVIEW

Mews is a fast-growing unicorn company, and it’s hard to distill every nuance of the role, but the scope and responsibilities include the following:
The Design Operations division takes care of the experience of our designers, encompassing four disciplines – Design System, UX Research, Service Design, and Design Experience. Together, they provide a complex set of tools, assets, processes, and methodologies to ensure smooth cross-team collaboration and communication. Design Operations acts as the back office for the Design team, allowing designers to focus on what matters most – providing remarkable solutions for our customers.
As the Director of Design Operations, you will lead a team of design leaders, creating a vision and strategies for the team and ensuring professional growth. You will also act as a mentor, guiding the team to the best possible outcomes.
You will elevate the quality of Design Operations and enhance our team’s experience, culture, and community. We are looking for someone who will take our operations to a new level.

• You prioritize proactive problem solving, aiming to identify problems before they arise.

️ You’ll be a great match if you bring these:

• 5+ years of experience in leadership positions within Design.
• Experience in Design Operations within the fast-paced environment of SaaS startups or scale-ups.
• Active participation in the Design community, both locally and globally.
• Regular mentorship provided to others, extending beyond professional duties.
• Proven experience in public speaking and maintaining a social media presence.
