Director of Education Operations
Flinders Christian Community College (FCCC) is a forward-thinking, inclusive, coeducational, faith-based school from K-12. Reporting to the Executive Principal (EP), the DoEO has cross-campus responsibility for the effective operation of all education offerings in alignment with the College’s vision, mission and strategic plan. Where required, the Director deputises for the Executive Principal and reports to the Board on key strategic initiatives.
Working in tandem alongside each Head of Campus, the DoEO operationalises the smooth functioning of the College’s education programs, champions the School Improvement Framework, represents the EP on the Risk and Compliance and other committees, and ensures all initiatives align with the College’s Christ-centred values. With six middle leaders reporting directly into this senior executive role, the DoEO is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of uniform metrics, systems, policies and frameworks that promote efficiencies and best practice.
The successful candidate is an executive leader who:
- identifies, advocates for and facilitates school improvement and innovation (across operations, curriculum, pedagogy, wellbeing and programs)
- designs, implements and assesses practices, tools and frameworks to enhance learning experiences for all
- works closely with and contributes to the administrative services and functions of the school (including but not limited to IT, Risk & Compliance, HR, timetabling, teaching allocations, certification and accreditation)
- co-ordinates and leverages strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and community resources
- is living out their faith in a Christian community.
Commencing in January 2025, this role is offered on a four-year contract that is predominantly a leadership position, with a small teaching allocation (up to 0.2FTE). Applicants must have executive-level experience, a Masters or Post Graduate qualifications, and be registered or eligible to teach in Victoria (VIT).
