Responsibilities:

  • Drive process and equipment improvements for Group14 battery materials Manufacturing.
  • Direct process development and engineering teams consisting of plant engineers, process engineers, materials scientists, drafters, and modelers.
  • Direct all aspects of capital projects associated with process development.
  • Exercise process safety fundamentals to ensure safe design, as well as mentor newer engineers on the application and considerations for safe design.
  • Support project engineers in the execution and delivery of projects.
  • Lead the down selection process of new equipment vendors, manage vendor relationships, and negotiation new vendor contracts.
  • Interphase with the IP team on generation and documentation of process-related intellectual property.
  • Work with the R&D and Product teams to develop solutions to problems and improve production throughput, cost, product quality and process safety.
  • Support construction management efforts at Group14 HQ and serve to create systems that can be implemented across production sites.
