JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to grow a promising young company? Nimonik is looking to increase its revenues 10x in 4 years, we need your help! We have acquired 5 companies since 2016. We are looking for someone who can operate at both the strategic planning level and at the operational level. You need to identify opportunities to both control costs, grow revenues and obtain financing to grow the company. You need to be a CFO, Treasurer, and Controller at the same time. You also need to work with our team to maximize government grants and support.
The job demands careful analysis of financial statements, expenses, revenues, government programs and opportunities . You must also closely collaborate with operations, accounts payables, hr and the entire team to implement process, procedures, conduct training and identify opportunities for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Be Proactive and very organized
  • Experience working with small companies trying to grow
  • Experience working in SaaS companies
  • Experience with SR&D, IRAP and other Canadian and Quebec government programs
  • Experience raising capital for investment in technology, sales and marketing
  • Familiarity with Lean methods (Kanban, Kaizen, Muda,…)
  • Familiarity with web technology and mobile technology
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Curious and flexible, with strong self-motivation; persistent attitude toward problem-solving
  • Ability to conduct oneself professionally and conscientiously.
  • Degree in finance, accounting or similar field

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • You will be accountable for cash flow and long term retained earnings and use of capital.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify opportunities for improving financial performance, down to the product pricing and granular details.
  • Propose action plan to improve financial situation
  • Implement financial improvement plan
  • Report progress on financial improvement plan weekly to CEO and other team leaders
