Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
The position of Director of Finance is a newly created role, which will act as a catalyst for change and transformation across the finance function. Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the delivery and development of a large University Finance Team ensuring it delivers best in class service in line with the University’s strategic objective of being the best run university in the UK.
The Director of Finance will be the principal adviser to both the CFO and University Executive on financial strategy and the University planning process, delivering the vision to be a highly valued, collaborative partner that delivers the financial expertise, analysis and insight that enables the University to be both educationally and financially sustainable. You will also play a crucial role in the ensuring the control environment is well designed, consistent with University strategy, widely understood and effectively delivered.
