KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree preferred in Engineering or similar.
  • Must hold ISO 9001:2015 QMS Auditor certification and IRCA registered.
  • Preferably Certifications in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a senior quality management role.
  • Oil and Gas and EPC industry process knowledge.
  • Must have experience in executing and managing the audits.
  • Knowledge on Customer Satisfaction survey process and relevant improvements.
  • Able to manage external audits and maintain ISO 9001:2015 QMS umbrella certification.

SKILL:

  • Project management experience.
  • Proven track record leading large scale operational and strategic projects.
  • Ability to lead through change and inspire agility/flexibility amongst team.
  • Change management capability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of the Management Systems and ISO9001-2015.
  • 15-20 years of experience in a relevant environment, with a minimum of 10 years in oil and gas sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem-solving efforts to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations.

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Director of Global Quality Management and Compliance leads global quality management and is responsible for its compliance through planning and leading companywide internal and external audits. The role is also responsible for analysis of Customer Satisfaction Insights and defining improvement actions based on the inputs received from customers.
The role supports quality Function for some other assigned activities explained below.
This individual must be able to work collaboratively across the organisation with people from diverse backgrounds, engaging with multiple Functions, Business units and corporate team.
The candidate must be a proven business leader with the desire and experience to drive strategic change and operational execution with high level of analytics, communication, and collaboration skills. The candidate will be skilled in how to work with diverse teams.

KEY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Process Compliance and Audits

  • Design and lead Annual Internal Audit program (for on high-risk processes/projects), drive and monitor its effectiveness through closure of the audit findings.
  • Optimize the quality audit program across the group and enhance the efficiency of the quality audits in line with the group and Improve audit finding closure cycle team.
  • Maintain a competent pool of auditors, lead and assign them for the scheduled audits and ensure resource utilisation.
  • Ensure a robust and digital mechanism and process for recording the audit plan and audit finding.
  • Conduct periodic review of audit results, analyse, suggest process improvements. Escalate overdue audit findings to relevant stakeholders for necessary intervention.
  • Provide process improvement recommendations from audit results.
