Burton and South Derbyshire College is a forward thinking General Further Education College with high future ambitions. We have excellent provision serving the communities of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire, work with nearly 1,000 businesses regionally and serve over 5,000 learners.
We are looking for an outstanding IT Director to join our management team. With the ability to turn strategy into achievable practical outcomes you will lead by example, be people focussed and will have a consistent approach to leadership that motivates and inspires your teams. You will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of the IT services of the College and have primary responsibility for planning implementation and overseeing of the College’s technical infrastructure to ensure that it supports the delivery of high-quality services. You will be committed to service excellence and possess the passion, commitment, and tenacity to achieve the very best results.

We’re currently offering hybrid working where you can choose to work at home or the office. However, all employees must be on campus for at least three days per week. Remote working has to be mutually beneficial and have the interests of the College and our learners at its heart.
