An excellent opportunity is available with a leading regulatory business based in Dubai for a Director of Market Assurance to drive and oversee analytics activities in line with strategy and objectives to include introducing leading best practices for blockchain analytics and digital assurance into the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Market Assurance, you will:

• Develop and enhance framework for utilising digital capabilities (on-chain and off-chain) to support market surveillance, supervision and investigation activities
• Develop and continuously update knowledge bank for Web3 / blockchain security and analytics policies and procedures
• Support the development of best-in-class regulations with respect to blockchain analytics within the regulatory framework
• Monitor market surveillance and supervisions on-chain activity and provide regular updates on market health to the required teams and external stakeholders as needed
• Continuously maintain knowledge base of technical advances to ensure preparedness to mitigate horizon risks, associated with developing technology innovations
• Support the Licensing Teams in the technical evaluation of licensing applications
• Support the Licensing Team in conducting whitepaper reviews in line with the VARA Issuance Framework

The Director of Market Assurance will possess strong experience in a similar assurance role. You will have strong experience of monitoring and building out frameworks, experience of understanding data and how to present this and experience of blockchain technology.
