Description:

Belmond is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing and Communications to join The Cadogan Hotel in London. As a global leader in luxury travel experiences, Belmond offers a unique collection of hotels, trains, river cruises, and safari lodges in the most beautiful destinations around the world. We are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests and creating unforgettable memories.
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for our hotel. You will develop and execute strategic marketing plans across all areas of our business, including the hotel, treatment room, and F&B outlets. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the protection of our brand, managing the relationship with the central Belmond marketing function, and overseeing the implementation of innovative marketing campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth understanding of the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth for the company.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing plans across the hotel, treatment room, and F&B outlets.
  • Manage the relationship with the central Belmond marketing function.
  • Protect the brand and ensure consistency across all marketing initiatives.
  • Produce innovative campaign ideas and manage their multi-channel distribution.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials.
  • Conduct post-campaign reporting and share key learnings with stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and plan partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Generate ideas to increase brand profile and awareness.
  • Manage the budget for marketing activities.
