POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Direct of Demand Generation the Director of Marketing Operations delivers/works to drive strategic marketing initiatives and optimize operational efficiency. This involves collaborating with the Sr. Director of Demand Generation & VP of Marketing to develop comprehensive strategies aligned with organizational goals, overseeing the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to inform future strategies. The Director role also fosters cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing activities. Additionally, they play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization’s brand integrity and positioning in the marketplace, while providing leadership, mentorship, and support to marketing team members. By effectively managing marketing operations, the Director contributes to the organization’s mission of fostering collaboration and innovation among healthcare leaders, ultimately driving engagement, generating leads, and increasing brand visibility.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Marketing Automation: Own and manage the implementation, configuration, and optimization of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) to streamline processes, nurture leads, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging marketing automation tools to automate workflows, track engagement, and drive results.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity and cleanliness within marketing automation systems, including lead database management, segmentation, and data hygiene practices to support targeted and personalized marketing efforts.
  • Executive Reporting: Creates reports and analysis for executive reporting, delivers reporting where necessary, via live and virtual presentations, group trainings to the Marketing, MDR and Sales teams, and Teams updates.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate various marketing projects from inception to completion, including campaign launches, website updates, content creation, and event promotions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize marketing processes, workflows, and procedures, leveraging automation and technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze communication performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Member Development, and Content teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives with overall organizational objectives.
  • MarTech Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing automation implementation, project execution, and other marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role
  • Adobe Certified Expert (Former Marketo Certified Expert); certified in the last 2 years
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, and other relevant tools or integrations
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field is a plus.
