Bloomberg Media is seeking a high-caliber Media Research & Insights Director to join our Media Advertising Sales team based in Asia Pacific. In this role, you will oversee and handle research and analytics projects with the core objective to drive media revenues, develop multiplatform media targeting solutions. You are a strategic thinker who will work closely with team leaders across sales, ideation, marketing, campaign planning and productions to create ideas and drive revenues. You enjoy storytelling with data, presenting internally and externally and collaborating across the globe.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Drive audience insights and sales revenue using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to drive campaign performance insights
  • Collate, manage database, and analyze consumer and audience data from various sources to compile sales presentations and competitive analytical reports
  • Consult cross-departmentally with client solutions, marketing, campaign planning, and creative teams to help develop innovative campaign strategies and sales materials, newsletters, category sector presentations, etc.
  • Oversee market research vendors, manage on-going relationships, and identify strategic partnership opportunities to optimize ROI
  • Enhance current reporting tools and formats with data visualization
  • Represent the voice of the APAC region by working collaboratively with Global Data Science & Insights team

You’ll need to have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in audience data science & insights across APAC markets e.g. Customer insights & analytics, media effectiveness & measurement
  • Experience in an international media company, advertising/media agency or market research company focusing on media research
  • Demonstrated experience in cross media measurement using various sources including but not limited to publisher’s first-party data, Ipsos surveys, Google Analytics, Comscore as well as other secondary sources
  • Extensive experience in reporting research findings to internal stakeholders and external clients including the ability to present the results of analytic efforts to a non-data savvy audience
  • Excellent Powerpoint, Excel and MS Office skills
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
