BEDROCK AT HOME NJ, LLC IS LOOKING FOR AN ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDED DIRECTOR OF NURSING TO LAUNCH OUR NEW HOME CARE REGION IN CENTRAL AND NORTHERN NEW JERSEY! BEDROCK AT HOME IS EXPANDING RAPIDLY AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE THAT IS NOT ONLY A CLINICALLY COMPASSIONATE NURSE, BUT ALSO HAS A BUSINESS ORIENTED MINDSET AND THE ABILITY TO GROW A TERRITORY.

This position has massive potential to advance as we are looking to build a team around an exceptional nurse.
This role will require everything from recruiting and credentialing caregivers, networking with prospective referral sources and clients, and ultimately managing a growing census of home care patients and care staff.
Bedrock at Home NJ is a private duty home care agency that resides within the Bedrock Healthcare at Home ecosystem. With everything from Physician Services, Therapy Services, Continuous Care Management, and Private Duty Home Care, we are revolutionizing the community based healthcare model to ultimately optimize client outcomes by maximizing the healthcare continuum through collaboration amongst providers.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: DIRECTOR OF NURSING (RN OR BSN)

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NJ licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BSN Preferred
• Current CPR card and Physical/TB free from communicable diseases statement Valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile.
• Proof of current automobile insurance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON)

• Recruit, credential, and train a roster of Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
• Meet with clients/family members/referral sources to discuss Bedrock at Home’s services
• Provides the client with an assessment and develops a plan of care in accordance with client’s needs.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and Joint Commission Regulations
• Supervises Home Health Aides on an as needed basis
• Initiates needed referrals to other disciplines and/or community
• Adheres to all Agency, payroll, billing and documentation policies
• Participates in company Manager On Duty Program

NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

• Attends all required training and in-services
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Bedrock at Home NJ, LLC
