Description:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Operations will lead to formulate and manage the delivery of strategic goals and initiatives of the Club.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferably 8 years’ experience in similar capacity in Hospitality Industry.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-groomed and able to work on weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and operating the following departments: Maintenance and Facilities, Security and Housekeeping.
  • Oversee Capital projects and developments, ensuring timely completion of each project.
  • Ensure risk assessment and protocols for Workplace Health, Safety and Emergency are followed.
  • Lead in business continuity planning and management, including contingency and crisis management and sustainability programming.
  • Developing and implementing operational policies, long and short-term planning initiatives in accordance with Club’s objectives
  • Establish budgets, forecast, staffing and general operating procedures and monitor cost control procedures.
  • Planning, assigning, and evaluating work of staff members, and recommend changes in practices and procedures to increase operating efficiency and expedite workflow.
  • Maintain excellent relationship with members by proactively soliciting feedback and attending to members concerns expeditiously.
  • To monitor and review the division’s performance throughout the year and to accomplish the relevant KPI’s and to identify and develop solutions to address performance inadequacies, where key financial performance indicators are not in line with the budget or target set.
  • Participate in General/Committee meetings as appropriate.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the General Manager.
