Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement to lead our procurement function. The Director of Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and driving strategic initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful procurement management in the software industry, coupled with a passion for operational excellence and strong leadership abilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop, implement, and communicate procurement strategies, policies and procedures in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement spend while maintaining product quality and service levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, finance, legal and operational teams, to align procurement activities with business needs and priorities.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement trends, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as vendor instability and price changes.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
