Slack is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to join our dynamic EMEA Marketing team. This role, based in Dublin, offers an outstanding opportunity to lead and drive the EMEA Demand Generation team encompassing campaign orchestration, campaign management, content, messaging, email, digital and webinar functions. This is a meaningful role that requires positive relationships with cross-functional teams to accelerate the adoption of Slack by customers of all sizes, and deliver pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate to join our growing team is a data-driven, strategic, expert marketer and business leader. The Director, of Demand Generation will help us scale our demand generation function at pace with our rapidly growing EMEA audience and educate the world about what’s possible with Slack.
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join the Slack EMEA Team. The ideal applicant excels at creating compelling narratives, and impactful content and localizing it to represent Slack’s voice across the diverse tapestry of the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in amplifying our sales enablement programs, supporting campaigns and events, and ensuring our messaging resonates in every market.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of EMEA Marketing, you will be responsible for driving internal product education, and awareness and developing value propositions that help us win.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with global and local stakeholders to devise and implement targeted go-to-market strategies and field readiness initiatives
  • Drive regional rollout of key product launches, including campaign execution and content localisation, tailor messaging to meet EMEA market requirements, across various industries and buyer personas
  • Identify and prioritise key segments with target positioning and messaging that drives acquisition, conversion, and expansion
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations for a range of internal and external events, driving demand generation, pipeline growth, and accelerating deals
  • Oversee regional messaging, positioning, and competitive product marketing to ensure there is a continuous feedback loop with the corporate product marketing team
  • Enable customer-facing teams with the tools, training, and content they need to position and sell Slack
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure regional product marketing initiatives drive pipeline and ACV
  • Monitor and report on the efficiency of marketing initiatives, providing insights on performance in relation to objectives to stakeholders
  • Brief press, analyst and partners on Slack offerings and new solutions
  • Be a trusted partner to the global product and product marketing teams and relay customer, sales and market insights that advise product roadmap decisions and strategy

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience in Product Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with SaaS products, with an understanding of collaboration tools and their impact on business productivity.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering optimally with sales, marketing, and product teams across Slack and Salesforce to meet common goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for creating and conveying compelling narratives to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and influence go-to-market strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of leading projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience writing blogs, delivering webinars, and presenting to customers, analysts, and media
  • Fantastic storytelling skills and ability to communicate and translate technical issues to business values
  • Strong influencing skills to define and present innovative ideas to the global product marketing team and get agreement to support your big ideas
  • Decisive but flexible, and able to perform and adapt quickly in a dynamic, rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to be accountable and think like an owner, demonstrating high attention to detail and quantitative skills in a competitive environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Slack or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.
