Director of raw material procurement

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Director of raw material procurement at our facility in Szabadegyháza. The person is responsible for covering the company’s needs in maize and bio mass.

Job description:

• Participates in elaborating the business plan of the company
• Elaborates the strategies of procurement with consideration of the company’s business plan
• Keeps the contact with the local management and the shareholders’ respective representatives as well as with the other directorates of the company
• Continuously analyses the markets, local and international, that influence raw material prices and changes purchase strategies accordingly
• Actively takes part in risk management and cost optimization including logistics, finance, hedging, legal issues etc.
• Organizes the work of the directorate under his leadership
• Sets up duties and responsibilities of the field traders and the execution personnel
• Together with the local management evaluates the work of his colleagues under his leadership
• Keeps the terms of commercial contracts updated
• Controls trade and execution
