Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Regulatory Compliance to lead our team and ensure compliance with MiFIR, EMIR, and SFTR reporting requirements. Join us and play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our regulatory reporting processes.
The Director of Regulatory Compliance will oversee a team responsible for ensuring compliance with MiFIR, EMIR, and SFTR reporting requirements. This role focuses on data and report quality, operational and system controls, regulatory monitoring, and adaptations to new or changed regulations. The Director will also set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage the regulatory compliance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a culture of compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with MiFIR, EMIR, and SFTR reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adaptations to reporting processes.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay informed about regulatory developments.
Data and Report Quality
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of data and reports submitted to regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain robust data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.
Operational and System Controls
- Develop and maintain strong operational and system controls to support regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure systems are capable of meeting regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with regulatory reporting.
Regulatory Monitoring and Adaptations
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization’s reporting processes.
- Implement changes to processes and systems as required by new or amended regulations.
- Conduct impact assessments and develop action plans to ensure compliance.
Performance Management
- Set and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the regulatory reporting function.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of regulatory reporting compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with Exchange business units and CCP on regulatory reporting matters
- Act as liaison with regulators on issues and questions pertaining to our regulatory reporting
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law or a related field.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of MiFIR, EMIR, and SFTR reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of data management, operational controls, and IT systems related to regulatory reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and manage multiple priorities.
