Description:
Responsibilities:
- Drafts and Reviews the established Pricing Strategy with the General Manager.
- Maximises Hotel Revenue Contribution across all distribution channels, incorporating a continuous analysis of changing Channel Distribution Models and their impact on Consumer Booking Trends.
- Works with the top-line Team to determine Effective and Engaging Rate Offers (packages) tailored to the preferences of FIVE’s Guests.
- Sets up Standard Operating Procedures in the Revenue and Reservations Team.
- Actively monitors the Competitive Market Environment, elaborating revenue-optimising tactics and strategies to maximise the Revenue Generation Index (RGI).
- Drives the forecasting process for all Operating Departments, identifying revenue potentials and supply and demand variables for the property.
- Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with Pricing and Demand Projects based on clear briefs, ensuring an Advantageous and Leading market position.
- Reviews Market Trends and Benchmarks against competition with a focus on Market Dominance.
- Closely monitors competitors for shifts in Demand, Rate, and Strategy, incorporating daily Pick-Up Analysis, Strategy Adjustments, and Reporting to maintain a front-running market presence.
- Identifies areas needing Improvement and Competitor Set Strengths, and develops strategies to best capture Market Share in the industry.
- Drives Revenue-Generating Initiatives to optimise Top-Line Revenues.
- Provides a dynamic weekly forecast of Expected Results, Variances, and Budget Comparisons, offering a comprehensive and sharp financial overview.
- Configures and manages key systems, including the Revenue Management System, Central Reservation System, Property Management System, and respective Distribution Platforms.
- Ensures all related systems are Configured correctly, Validated, and Working to Full Capacity.
- Maintains Pricing Integrity, regularly checking distribution channels for Hotel Positioning, Information Accuracy, and Competitor Positioning.
- Communicates Revenue Management strategies to the Room Reservations Team and other teams as required.
- Analyses overall Monthly Hotel Performance and provides a Summary Report with recommendations to improve Long-Term Strategies, contributing to FIVE’s Next-Level Success.
