JOB OVERVIEW:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Post Intensive Care for Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master s preferred
• Current New Jersey RN Licensure
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)
• A minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required
• Previous experience as a nursing director is preferred,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time 40 hours per week

• Accountability and supervision for staff that includes RN’s, CNA’s & Unit Secretaries for a 26 bed highly acute medical/surgical unit and other healthcare providers who deliver care to patients in the inpatient setting.
• Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the Unit
• An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ New Brunswick
• Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
• This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
