DIRECTOR, PEOPLE ANALYTICS

IFF is a global creator and manufacturer of scent, taste, nutrition, and biosciences solutions that puts the needs of our people, customers, and communities at the heart of what we do.
We are looking for a Director, People Analytics focused on developing and leading our People Analytics strategy. You will be part of the Total Rewards & People Operations leadership team and partner closely with senior HR and business leaders to design and deliver data-driven insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of work experience within the field of Data & Analytics and/or Human Resource Management, with considerable experience of designing and delivering high impact analytical projects and solutions
  • Experience and expertise in Strategic Workforce Planning preferred, in addition to People Analytics subject matter expertise
  • Track record of partnering with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating these into effective People Analytics initiatives that improve the quality of decision making.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and act with autonomy, able to create clarity for self and others when there is complexity and uncertainty.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to develop highly effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of analytical systems and technologies, as well as HR processes and the employee life cycle.
  • Ability to tell powerful stories from complex data and concepts which effectively engage others and result in better decision making
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive and highly confidential data.
  • Passion for data and story-telling, with a track-record for staying abreast of best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a roadmap for the People Analytics function, leveraging your experience with Workday, to transform the way the organization uses data to make critical decisions.
  • Lead the Reporting & Analytics workstream for the Workday implementation (Q3 go-live) so that the most critical delivered and custom reports are selected to meet the needs of HR and managers as we transition into a self-service environment, including ongoing refinements.
  • Consult with business leaders to identify opportunities to utilize data and insights to make decisions, predict and measure business impact, and improve overall performance.
  • Provide guidance to the People Analytics team to simplify deliverables and ensure consistent focus on the most critical business priorities.
  • Own the design and delivery of manager reporting toolkits and leadership dashboards to drive strong adoption of a self-service approach to reporting & analytics
  • Provide strategic support to the HR team in the areas of HR metrics, reporting, trend assessment, workforce planning, predictive analytic capabilities, and standard key performance indicators.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional peers to align on data, systems, and technology when it comes to the People Analytics and how that integrates with the wider enterprise data strategy and approach, particularly Finance systems.
  • Distill large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making, using data visualization tools. Ensure that the information is presented in a visually clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to senior leadership level stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures for people data management and governance, covering data lifecycle, data quality, data security, data privacy, data ethics, and data literacy.
  • Oversee data quality initiatives to maintain accurate and reliable people data.
  • Ensure all People data privacy processes and procedures are in place with a regular cadence to monitor and protect employee data and ensure it meets the highest ethical and professional standards.
