Description:

SGA DIRECTOR PPI POSITION (CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT)

This PPI SGA Director (Continuous Improvement) position plays a key leadership role in defining, driving, and driving end-to-end process efficiency and effectiveness efforts across all shared service activities globally, in the partnership with the respective business.
Holds responsibility for all aspects of processes, including business process re-engineering and automation activities. Drives consistency across the shared services around performance indicators Technology, Controls and Operating model and will bring industry excellence and subject-matter expertise.
Lead process assessments, drive process design and re-engineering work. This role serves as a key enabler to our productivity targets and serves on both the productivity and process councils, driving automation at scale.
The position will partner with a wide range of customers and groups, including Group Finance, Business partners, GBS Shared Services Operations, IT, PPI and other organizations.
This position will be site based in Budapest and will have a travel expectation of 20%.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree, Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 6-8 years of continuous improvement work experience in multi-functional shared services.
  • Tried transformation leadership experience in process improvement programs and experience of program management and delivery of organizational change initiatives on business side.
  • Ability to partner with key business, function, technology team members and external vendors on large technology implementations. Experience with large and cross organization projects.
  • Can-do demeanor, forward-thinking leader with strong ability to multi-task & collaborate. Excellent eye for business - making the right calls at the right time.
  • Focuses on the big picture and can drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understands how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities.
  • Deep understanding of enabling technology, tools, and methodology to drive process standardization.
  • Prior experience with helping develop a strong talent pool for the organization by attracting individuals with the critical needed capabilities and by providing effective coaching meaningful roles or assignments.
  • Digital enablement tools and expertise.

Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement:

  • Own and lead a Continuous Improvement portfolio spanning, end-to-end process improvement, productivity improvement, and automation programs.
  • Bring thought leadership on implementing and improving end-to-end process management across GBS -in-scope process areas.
  • Drive sustainable end-to-end process improvements across GBS in-scope functional areas, aligned with business strategy to positively impact enterprise and group-level performance.
  • Lead process standardization initiatives, using end-to-end process taxonomy across Groups and geographies, in collaboration with functional and business leadership.
  • Understand and partner to improve GBS Shared Service Center performance, addressing performance issues, customer concerns.
  • Engage with GBS Leaders to perform due diligence for transition of additional services
  • Technology-led solution design incorporating baseline systems and data architecture required for successful Generative AI / ML deployment.
  • Digital tool knowledge and expertise driving productivity including but RPS’s, Process Mining, Machine Learning and other ground-breaking tools
  • Evaluate GBS enabling technology needs and collaborate with business / function and IT team members to drive implementation of scalable platforms across processes.
  • Champion with executive partners all organizational change and communications related to ongoing transformation programs and assist with driving adoption.

Governance, Controllership & Compliance:

  • Partner with Controls and Compliance to build and maintain a strong Risk/Control environment for the processes, including robust process documentation, identification of risks and issues, design of appropriate controls, and periodic testing of controls.
  • Enable the regional teams to endorse the global process; Identify the relevant legal and regulatory variations when implementing or standardizing initiatives.
  • Enable remediation efforts related to Audit findings.

Build impactful teams:

  • Build and grow an impactful team of PPI Practitioners and Automation deployment expertise.
