Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Product Management works with the Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) and Chief Technology officer to lead the product’s lifecycle from CEO ideation, to developing, and preparing the products for launch to evolving them to meet leadership vision and customer needs. A successful Director of Product will lead the Product Team to be the subject matter expert on their assigned products and see that their work is centered around the who, what and why on their initiatives. The right person will work closely with stakeholders across Gaggle (including Engineering, Innovation, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing and Leadership) to build, drive and maintain the overall direction on the execution of the product roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated success at efficiently defining and launching excellent products
  • Experience managing (at minimum) a Product team of 5 members including UI/UX
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong ability to engage with stakeholders and customers by asking questions and developing creative solutions and products to meet their needs
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a product lifecycle
  • Must be familiar with JIRA, Agile and product management tools
  • Education Technology Industry knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the PM Team (2 Associate PMs, 1 PM, 1 Sr. PM and 1 Sr. UI/UX Designer) and serves as the voice of the team
  • Accountable for ensuring development initiatives are prioritized based on business impact and business value
  • Building the Gaggle Roadmap(s)
  • Managing product deliverables through roadmap execution
  • Responsible for ensuring user acceptance testing aligns with desired product intent
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and customers about the roadmap and product specifications to foster transparency and build trust
  • Creating timelines for product roll-out
  • Contributing to Gaggle marketing strategies for our products
  • Continued awareness of the competition to ensure Gaggle’s position as a leader in the market space
  • Analyzing customer feedback and engagement
