Description:
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated high level leadership and management expertise in a health care or emergency services environment, ensuring the provision of high-quality pre-hospital patient care services to the community.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a large, diverse, professional team in a complex operational environment of competing priorities and needs with limited resources.
- Proven success in leading and implementing organisational change and service system reform to ensure the service delivery systems are increasingly responsive to the needs of patients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills with the proven ability to advocate persuasively to achieve desired outcomes and build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement.
- Proven capabilities and experience in strategic planning and the provision of policy advice, in particular, the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of district operational policies, procedures, standards and service improvement initiatives.
