Description:

As the subject matter expert for refrigeration/temperature-controlled sales, you will provide strategic direction for the growth and revenue of refrigerated sales under the KNX umbrella.

QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in refrigerated/temperature-controlled sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must be able to lead various large accounts and activities.
  • Must possess a deep knowledge of the refrigerated transportation industry.
  • Must be able to help formulate complex solutions as well as effectively present them to customers.
  • Must possess excellent writing skills and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a high comfort level with achieving large sales goals directly related to position success.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new refrigerated/temperature-controlled business by identifying, qualifying and advancing opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Support refrigeration sales activity across the enterprise while functioning as a subject matter expert for the line of business.
  • Share strategy information in order to maintain and manage existing business.
  • Expand book of business for refrigerated/temperature-controlled sales.
  • Develop a strong customer pipeline through the cultivation of new and existing customer relationships.
  • Identify and understand the needs of prospective customers and communicate customer needs to appropriate parties.
  • Promote growth in existing business by identifying additional opportunities and supporting continuous strengthening of business relationships through direct contact.
  • Partner with designated personnel to contact prospects/customer to advance leads/opportunities.
  • Design creative and compelling solution based proposals that meet or exceed client requirements and are profitable for the company.
  • Manage the closure and implementation actions throughout sales process and facilitate activities and personnel interaction to close on new business and renew current business.
  • Ensure customer onboarding process is carried out efficiently and customer requirements are met.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate contract details with appropriate company personnel, leadership and customers.
  • Provide recommendations and support to leadership in business plan development.
  • Support collection of receivables as needed and work with customers to better manage contractual Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.
