We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Regional CAO to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Singapore, hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Key leadership support to the APAC regional lead, driving various business management initiatives
  • Lead status and execution for major programs and projects, facilitates risk mitigation and manages the resolution of more complex issues. Ensure delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards to align towards our strategic Business outcomes.
  • Leads the APAC region driving the Global Belonging and Inclusion culture to enhance communication and employee engagement.
  • Represent the business by participating/leading various working groups for global and regional business initiatives covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to, business activities/efficiencies review, regulatory requirements and policy implementation.
  • Manages first line of defence regulatory oversight management efforts as they relate to complex regulatory and policy requirements, efficiencies and program and project development.
  • Helps business develop and implement procedures to meet complex compliance requirements and validates controls or project plans to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations and manage risk.
  • Engages with internal teams and APAC Leadership Team to stay abreast of organization and function operations and has a full understanding of company practices relevant to metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, e.g. OKRs KPI’s KRI’s etc.
  • Develops and communicates both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses and/or presentations in alignment with the global business e.g. strategic growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate regional internal and external reviews, including but not limited to compliance and audit reviews.
  • Establish and lead governance, reporting and communication services to ensure cohesion across the region and in alignment with the broader global business unit
  • Partner with global, regional and country teams across all business functions to ensure effective execution of risk control and business governance ensuring regional/country staff are aware of an in compliance with laws, regulations and policies - gaps are noted and actioned appropriately.
  • Work with global and regional legal, compliance and risk control teams in day-to day work, as well as to ensure satisfactory completion and on time submission of annual Risk Assessments.
  • In conjunction with global business resiliency lead, manage local/regional business incidents or crisis management work streams till completion of remediation, ensuring risk and control are in place to meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Execute regional business continuity plans.
  • Lead periodical reviews of record management, including annual Self-Assessment and ensure inclusion of remediation plans.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Advanced degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 15+ years of related Front Office experience within Financial Services industry is a plus.
  • Experience supporting and advising a multi-jurisdictional business region
  • Candidates with business control and product knowledge in transaction banking are preferred.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills with a keen understanding of risk management in Financial Services industry
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
