QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in the public cloud or networking vendors (experience running private organization IT teams and budgets is a benefit)
  • Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Terraform experience is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing and developing a high-performing team in IT Network and Security
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Software Defined Networking (SDN) background
  • Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and industry events
  • Technical hands-on experience deploying and designing hybrid or public cloud infrastructure

ABOUT THE ROLE

Aviatrix is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Engineer Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Solutions Engineer Leader at Aviatrix, you will be responsible for leading a team of Solution Engineers, driving technical sales strategies, and providing pre-sales support for our cloud network platform. Your expertise in leadership, cloud networking, customer engagement, and sales will play a critical role in driving customer success and revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of talented solution engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Drive technical sales strategies and collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve revenue goals and exceed customer expectations.
  • Engage with prospective and existing customers, understanding their networking and security requirements, and demonstrating the value and capabilities of the Aviatrix platform.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on cloud networking best practices, architecture design, and deployment strategies.
  • Influence and align technical sales messages, solution presentations, and product demonstrations to match customer needs and pain points.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback, collect customer requirements, and contribute to the ongoing software development of the Aviatrix platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to consistently enhance technical knowledge and contribute to thought leadership within the organization.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of customer budgeting, cost optimization, and multiple licensing schemas to accelerate procurement cycles.
