Founded in 1913, Olds College of Agriculture & Technology has been offering high quality hands-on education for over a century. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Masters degree in Education or related discipline and 3 to 5 years directly related experience or equivalent in a post-secondary environment
- Post-secondary teaching experience and well-developed teaching, research, and assessment skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including instructors, deans, associate deans, administration, and staff
- Current knowledge of emerging trends and issues in teaching and learning
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and strong organizational planning abilities
- A clear understanding of the Olds College Strategic Plan and the implications for leadership, planning and management
- Competency in areas of human resources, budget development and management, policies and procedures, and the ability to comply with and follow established policies, procedures, guidelines
