Enhanced Individualised funding (EIF) is a way of paying for disability support services. It allows people to organise their own support in the way that works best for them. Our Enliven Individualised Funding team works alongside disabled people and their whanau/family to help set up and manage their home support services to a level that suits them, whether that’s dealing with the paperwork, full payroll or help with recruiting staff. We have a strong client focus and work at each individual’s pace to get them started.

NGĀ PŪKENGA KEI A KOE I YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant experience or tertiary qualification in the disability, health or business fields, ie: Bsc Social Science, B Com, Registered Health Professional
  • Demonstrated ability to develop client support plans to achieve goals
  • Knowledge of NZ employment laws, health and safety, privacy and tax laws
  • An understanding of budgeting
  • Good understanding of the principles of Individualised funding and Enhanced Individualised funding and how that relates to purchasing decisions
  • Compassion and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Well developed oral presentation skills
  • Effective technology and report writing skills
  • Sound time management and prioritisation
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence and the flexibility to travel when required

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure goals have been set for all clients and link to the support plan
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Set up and maintain all client files, home files and other recording systems
  • Support clients/agents with the required paperwork & administrative support
  • Maintain correspondence with NASC, clients and relevant others
