ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a passionate leader with experience in SIL & Respite care.
This full-time, hybrid role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead our team of residential support workers while ensuring our various accommodations are managed optimally to provide unwavering support to our clients. Notably, it includes travel, allowing you to personally oversee and enhance our services across Melbourne, making a direct impact on the well-being of those we serve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall leadership and management of our SIL and Respite houses.
  • Responsible for the rostering of all direct support staff within your houses including monitoring of absenteeism and recommendations for escalation.
  • Complete all paperwork, (i.e., medication re-orders, transportation, visitor logs etc).
  • Understanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care plan.
  • Supervision of support workers on a regular basis. Maintain and build relationships with existing Participants and key referrers such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health Professionals.
  • Supporting Participants, their families, and carers to understand and access the business’ services and policies.
  • Nurturing a network of connections across the disability and community care sector.
  • Develop and Maintain Operational Administrative Systems, Procedures and Processes to Support Effective Management of all areas of Service Delivery.
  • Reporting incidents immediately in line with the NDIS Incident reporting.
  • Management of accommodation budget and expenditure.
